1 Overview
The plastic tool box is made of modified PP as the main raw material and is made after injection molding. It has the advantages of light weight, high strength, beautiful shape, soft lines, good weather resistance, and high safety. The main indicators of the plastic tool box are as follows: the appearance is uniform in color and luster, and there are no obvious black spots, oil stains and other impurities on the surface; the appearance is basically flat and smooth, and there is no obvious shrinkage and deformation.
2.Raw materials
The raw material for producing plastic tool boxes can be modified PP. Pure PP resin cannot be used to produce plastic tool boxes due to its high crystallinity, large molding shrinkage, and low impact strength. After PP resin is compounded and blended and modified (an appropriate amount of antistatic agent can be added), it not only reduces the molding shrinkage, improves the impact strength, but also increases the antistatic properties of the luggage.
3.Production process
Modified PP + masterbatch → injection molding → shell inspection → installation of accessories → inspection → packaging and storage
4.Production process
(1) The materials are prepared in a kneader, and modified PP and color masterbatch are added according to the formula requirements, and mixed evenly before use.
(2) Material drying: Since modified PP has low hygroscopicity, it does not need to be dried before molding. If necessary, dry at 80~100℃ for 2~4 hours.
